Funny Solar Eclipse PNG Designs for Eclipse Viewing Shirts, Tumblers and Mugs

This Funny Solar Eclipse PNG is a collection of eclipse-themed clip-art designs that you download as PNG files for shirts, tumblers, mugs and cutting projects. Inside you will find suns, moons, eclipse discs with a corona, a cat wearing eclipse glasses, and retro badges with lettering such as TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE, MY OLD FRIEND and GOT ECLIPSE? SHADES READY. The artwork mixes golden yellow, orange and sky blue with black and white, so the designs stand out on dark garments and backgrounds. Several badges use a Van Gogh style swirling sky, and some carry state outlines for Texas, Arkansas, Ohio and Indiana. Each file is a 300 dpi PNG with a transparent background, so you can place it straight onto a sublimation or DTF layout. Whether you are planning a viewing party or want a souvenir for your own eclipse trip, this set gives you a playful, retro option.

Design breakdown

The collection is shown as a collage preview of about 50 distinct designs, and the artwork uses nine colours: black, white, golden yellow, orange, brick red, sky blue, green, purple and pink. Lettering includes TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE, APRIL 8, 2024, TWICE IN A LIFETIME, MY BIRTHDAY PRESENT FROM THE UNIVERSE, ECLIPSE CHASER and TOTALITY, set in bold sans-serif, hand-lettered and distressed vintage styles. Among the designs shown in the preview are the cat wearing eclipse glasses, the eclipse disc with corona, the Texas state outline, the wavy retro sun face and the Van Gogh style swirling sky. Each design is supplied as a PNG with a transparent background. The cut detail varies: the fine rays, stars and lettering in some designs need a larger print size, so cut them at 4 inches or larger if you plan to use vinyl.
